How to Estimate Concrete
Concrete is typically measured by volume. In the US, it is sold by the cubic yard, while internationally it is measured in cubic meters.
Estimation Formula:
Volume = Length × Width × Thickness
Note: Remember to convert all measurements to the same unit before multiplying. For cubic yards, divide the total cubic feet by 27.
Standard Bag Coverage:
- One 60lb bag yields ~0.45 cubic feet.
- One 80lb bag yields ~0.60 cubic feet.
